Connie Powell Hinkle, 65, of Burgaw passed away and entered her heavenly home Sunday, December 20, 2020.

She was born on August 23, 1955 in Charleston City, SC. Connie is preceded in death by her parents Homer Arnold Powell and Vada Ipock Powell.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Hinkle; children, Jamie Northcott (Samantha), Shannon Hinkle, and Beth Rivenbark whom she always considered to be a daughter of her own; five grandchildren, Jacob Miller, Trenton Northcott, Caleb Northcott, Brooke Northcott and Kayden Hinkle; sisters, Patty Brown and Phyllis Miskell (Jimmy); brothers, Scott Powell (Julie), Homer Powell, Jr. (Geneva), Gary Powell (Beverly), and Allan Powell; many extended family and friends.

Connie was a loving mother and wife. Her kindness was often extended beyond her home and her legacy is the love she showed through actions towards her family and friends. She will also be remembered for her skills in the kitchen as she was a wonderful cook. She worked hard at everything she undertook and gave her best effort to each task. Connie made her house a home for all who entered. She also enjoyed a shopping trip when she could. Most of all, Connie loved her family.
