Connie Fay Johnson Rowe, 67, of Ivanhoe passed peacefully from her earthly life on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 16, 1948 in Pender County, the daughter of Lois Peterson Johnson and the late Johnny E. Johnson.

In addition to her mother, Connie is survived by her husband of 38 years, Charles Daniel Rowe; daughter, Constance Marie Rowe; son, Stephen Rowe and his wife, Brandi; grandchildren, Joseph Rowe and Colton Rowe; brother, Johnnie E. Johnson, Jr.; sister, Jonette Powell; and many extended family and friends.

Connie was a long time faithful member of Burgaw Presbyterian Church. She was a Registered Nurse in her chosen career of nursing, having worked at Pender Memorial Hospital and New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Connie was a soft spoken, humble Southern lady who loved sharing and helping others. Most important in her life was her beloved family and her strong Christian faith. With her warm heart and gentle spirit she was a good neighbor and friend. She will be remembered for her generous nature, her love for family and friends and her steadfast faith in God.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with Paul Rivenbark officiating.
