Cora Howard Brewer, age 88, of Burgaw died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Pender Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 25, 1919 in Onslow County, the daughter of the late Samuel and Julia Edens Howard. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Winfield "Windy" Brewer.

Mrs. Brewer was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Wilmington.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews who made sure that Cora was cared for during her lengthy illness.

Inurnment was in Greenlawn Memorial Park beside her beloved husband.
