Craig "Big Daddy" Bright, 63, of Rocky Point, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 15, 2021 at home. Craig was born in Pender County on September 27, 1957 to Dianna Fedoronko Pearsall and the late Toby S. Bright.

In addition to his mother, Craig is survived by his sister, Terry B. Wells (Phillip); niece, Dreama Tirasedtanun; great nephew; Jayden Tirasedtanun; special family friend, Kim Jones (Chris); and his four legged German Shephard, Buzz, who was his best friend.

In Craig's spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing even helping to start the Pender County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation.  He loved to cook for his friends and family at cookouts while shooting the breeze and catching up on lost time. Most importantly, being around family and friends was all that mattered to him. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service for Craig will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Chapel in Burgaw with Pastor Merrell McKoy officiating.
