Craig Aaron Nell, age 52, of Rocky Point, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was born on July 26, 1971 in Champaign County, IL.

Craig, born with Down syndrome, was very smart and had many friends. He was a member of the SGI Buddhist community where he loved chanting the most. Craig also loved going to dog shows, watching football/baseball games, and listening to music. He was a bright light to many people, and he will be dearly missed.

Craig is survived by his mother, Miriam Nell, and her fiancé, Dwayne Miles; brother, Sean Nell, and his wife, Karen; sister, Marnie Nell Williams, and her husband, Eric; and a host of other family members and friends.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Nell.
