Cristy Michelle Register, age 34, of Teachey left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Thursday, August 18, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 18, 1981 in Onslow County and is the daughter of Charles and Linda Smith Register of Teachey.

Cristy was secretary of the family business, Charles Alignment, where she enjoyed meeting new and old friends as long as her health permitted.

Surviving in addition to her parents is her sister, Amie Register Rivenbark of Wallace; brother, Charlie Register and wife, Devon of Teachey; her sons, Brenin Register, Mylez Peterson and Hayden Peterson; nephews, Sebastyan Torrans, Jaxan Torrans and Coolidge Rivenbark; niece, Skylar Register; special friends, Elliott Brinson and Christy Raynor; father of her children, Aaron Peterson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved Cristy dearly.

Cristy was a loving daughter, devoted mother and caring sister and friend. She found great joy in the simplest things, but her greatest joy was her three sons, who were the love of her life. Cristy never met a stranger and was a true friend. Always vigilant and seeing to the needs of others, she was always willing to lend a hand or shoulder to lean on to those in need. Cristy will be greatly missed but never forgotten. So, we do not say "goodbye" but "see you later" till we meet again in God's Heavenly Kingdom where she will continue to smile and be at peace forever.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Wallace with the Reverend Don Myers officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00pm, one hour prior the funeral service on Sunday at the church.
