Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Sneeden Wilson, age 67, passed gently from her earthly life Thursday, August 1, 2024 at her home.

She was born October 15, 1956 in Dade County, Florida, the daughter of Aaron Eugene Sneeden and Nancy Ann Hamilton Sneeden. In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved husband in 2003, Michael Wilson affectionately called "Big Mike".

Cindy is survived by her sons, Michael Allen Wilson, Jr. (Michelle) and Matthew Lee Wilson (Caiti); grandchildren, Corey Wilson, Dylan Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Blake Wilson, and Jack Dexter; and many friends.

Cindy loved the Lord and most recently attended Currie Community Baptist Church.

She enjoyed being outdoors in God's beautiful world of nature – horseback riding was a favorite pastime. Also, Cindy loved traveling and visiting family in Alaska, a trip she had planned to take in October, but God had other plans for her. She is now singing with the angels in heaven. Cindy dearly loved her family, especially spending time with her grandsons. Cindy was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2024, at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with the Rev. Eric Hutchins. A visitation and time of sharing memories will follow the memorial service.
