Burgaw: Daisy Louise Spencer Wells, 63, after a lengthy illness of Alzheimer's disease left her earthy life on Saturday, October 8, 2011 as she was surrounded by her loving family who so diligently cared for Daisy for the past ten years.

Daisy was a member of Moores Creek Baptist Church and for many years was a cosmetologist and owner of Daisy's Beauty Shop.

Daisy loved her family beyond compare and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend as long as her health permitted. Prior to her illness Daisy lived life to the fullest, caring for her family and uplifting family and friends with her gentle manner, warm heart, and joyful spirit. Her family kept the faith, loved Daisy and cared for her unceasingly during her illness. Daisy leaves a legacy of faith, hope and love for all who knew and loved Daisy.
