Dana Arnette Smith, age 68, of Hampstead, NC passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the Woodbury Wellness Center in Hampstead, NC.

She was born on February 28, 1956 in Wilmington, NC to the late William Carl Miles and Hazel Marie Garner Miles.

Dana was a member of Livingstones Tabernacle in Hampstead, NC. She was well loved by the staff at Woodbury Wellness Center. Dana was a bright light to many people and she will be dearly missed.

Dana is survived by her brother, Darnell Miles; sister, Cheryl Coston (Franklin, Jr.) and Angela Allen (James); nephews, Jeremy Coston, Samuel Coston, Franklin Coston III (Erin), Jamie Allen, and Joshua Miles; nieces, Rhonda Allen, Kerrie Gifford, Gina Miles, Brandy Miles, and Ashley Miles; grandnephew, Christian Coston (Sammantha); aunt, Lottie Rogers (Joe); and many cousins, other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Dana was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Miles.

A graveside service will be held at Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead, NC on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 1pm.
