Daniel Winston McArtan, 64, of Coats passed into the glory of his Lord on Monday morning, March 14, 2022 at Harnett Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunn.

He was born February 16, 1958 in Harnett County, the son of Ralph McArtan and Mary Alice Gurganious Lucas. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry McArtan.

Daniel is survived by his brothers, John McArtan (Dale) and Ronnie McArtan; niece, Cynthia Smith (Richard); nephews Ralph McArtan and Marcus McArtan; many cousins, and other extended family members and friends.

Daniel was a man of God with a strong Christian faith that he willingly shared with others. He shared his love of Jesus through his ministry. Daniel had a heart of gold, a kind heart, and a gentle spirit.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2022  at Gurganious Family Cemetery, 8129 Shiloh Road, Willard, NC 28478. Pastor Floyd Moore will conduct the service.

There will be a time of visitation and fellowship at the cemetery following  the service.
