Darrell Joseph Huffman, 57, of Rocky Point passed from his earthly life on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 5, 1956 in Washington, PA, the son of Edith Szolek Huffman of Fayetteville, GA and the late Warren D. Huffman, Sr.

In addition to his mother, Darrell is survived by his son, Michael Huffman; brothers, Warren Daniel "Danny" Huffman, Jr. (Mona), Duane Huffman (Pamela) and David Huffman (Jennifer); four nephews and one niece.

Darrell enjoyed hunting and fishing in God's beautiful world. He was always available to lend a helping hand when needed. His smile, his laughter, his caring manner will always be remembered.

A gathering of family and friends will be 5 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw.
