David Earl Bonham, Jr., age 47, passed away earlier this week at his home in Teachey.

He was born on February 16, 1971 in Duplin County and was the son of Alice Horrell Bonham of Wallace and the late David Earl Bonham, Sr.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his devoted sister, Sherry B. Brown and her husband, David of Wallace; nephew, Benjamin Bonham; bonus nephew, J.P. Brown and fiance` Kristin; bonus niece, Jessica Brown and her children; great niece and great nephew; special aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend and "brother", Stacey Smith and his wife, Tammy of Wallace and numerous extended family and friends that loved David dearly.

David was a people's person who would give you the shirt off his back. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever he was needed. Being a lover of children and animals,David enjoyed making children laugh and seeing that animals were taken care of. David's favorite past time was watching television especially the older shows such as "Andy Griffin". With an awesome sense of humor and a big heart, David was truly a good person and will surely be missed. Treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved David.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday September 25, 2018 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Chapel followed by visitation.
