David Earl Bonham, Sr., age 68, of Rose Hill died Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Brian Center in Wallace.

Mr. Bonham was born July 28, 1940 in Duplin County and was the son of the late Henry Harlee and Fannie Williamson Bonham.

Surviving are his wife, Alice Horrell Bonham of Rose Hill, daughter, Sherry B. Brown and husband, David of Wallace; son, David Earl Bonham, Jr. and wife, Robin of Rose Hill; grandson, Benjamin Michael Dover; step grandchildren, Jessica Crockrell and husband, Jason and J. P. Brown; step great grandson, Nathan Crockrell; brother, Frank Bonham and wife, Glenna of Williamsburg, VA and Bob Bonham and wife, Sarah of Wrightsboro; sisters, Mabel Thigpen of Burgaw and Faye Mobley and husband, J.L. of Sneads Ferry and many wonderful nieces, nephews and caregivers whom he loved dearly.

Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Clay Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Ronald Ginn officiating.
