David Charles Hall, Jr., age 70, of Teachey left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from his residence and surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on October 8, 1952 in New Hanover County, NC; the son of the late David Charles Hall, Sr. and the late Annie Ruth Sandlin Hall.

David was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Surviving to cherish is memory is his brother Gary Hall and wife, Jennifer of Teachey; sisters Kathy King of Oceanview, Delaware, Suzanne Thomas of Hampstead and Lisa Norris of Surf City; nieces and nephews, Brad King and wife Junelyn; Brandon Hall and wife Kelly, Christopher Hall, Kelly Ray Baker and husband Bobby, Caitlyn Flockhart and husband Jason, David Ray and wife Nathalie, Riley Norris, an amazing family friend, Wanda; beloved pets, "Lucy" and "Kit" and numerous great nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved David dearly.

David was a kind hearted and loving man who had a soft country drawl when he spoke.  He was a simple man who enjoyed simple things but his greatest joy was his family.  David was a cowboy at heart.  He loved horses, animals, cowboy boots and everything about being a cowboy.  With a witty personality, David always had a funny story to tell.   He enjoyed being outside, riding horses, motorcycles and driving big trucks as well as spending time with family.  David will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
