Dawn Rebecca Poss passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, January 11th, in Leland, NC.

She was born and raised in Maryland before moving to Leland. Dawn was a compassionate, caring, kind-hearted and loving mother who made family her first priority. She touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Dawn was passionate about her career and recently acquired a Series 7 brokerage license.

Dawn was preceded in death by her father Bart, and sister Nancy Gee Myers.

Left to remember her are her husband, Jon Poss; children, Chloe, Austin and Chase; mother, Penny Myers of Leland, NC; and sister Makayla Lyons of Leland, NC; along with her extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Loft on Front in Wilmington, NC, on Sunday, February 18th from noon until 3:00 p.m.
