Dawnmarie Witkowski, 57, of Wilmington, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

She was born on October 17, 1964, in the Bronx, NY, to Joseph and Carol (Sparaco) Englese.

Dawnmarie was a dreamer with a huge heart, who loved helping others. She enjoyed reading the Bible, fishing, and soaking up the sun at the beach. A loving mother and grandmother, Dawnmarie was a bright light and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Dawnmarie is survived by her sons, Michael Englese, Joey Englese; daughters, Noel Englese, Danielle Englese, Gabriella Witkowski; brothers, Jon Angelo Englese, Joseph Englese and wife, Maria; grandchild, Kellan Kinsey; and many other family members and friends.

There will be no services at this time.
