Deborah Faye Richardson Swartz, 69, of Bolivia passed from this life to her eternal rest on Monday, January 15, 2024.

She was born on July 2, 1954 in Marion County, SC to the late John Thomas and Doris Lee Casteen Richardson. Deborah was also preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Smith Brock, Judith Bryant Rogers, Larry Melton Richardson and Eve Kathleen Outlaw.

Surviving to cherish her memories, is her best friend and husband of 24 years, Louis Swartz; her children, Brittany Celeste Rogers and husband, Joseph of Angier, Laura Hope Avery of Wilmington, Louis E. Swartz, Jr. of Wilmington and Marsha Jean Swartz of Washington State; grandchidlren, Brianna Williams, Alyssa Moreira, Vanessa Avery, Julia Avery, Brayden Addison, Ella Addison, Kane Rogers, and Sophia Rogers; great-grandchildren, Levi Williams, Natalie Williams and Kaison Williams; siblings, Carol Lane Stallings, Harrell Thomas Richardson and Jamie Cavenaugh; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved Deborah dearly.

Debbie, as she was affectionately called, was a loving wife and caring mother, grandmother and sister.  She was a simple lady who enjoyed the simplest things in life but her greatest joy was family.  With a big heart Debbie enjoyed taking care of others.  When her health permitted, she worked as a CNA/caregiver, always giving the best of herself to others.  Debbie loved life and lived it to its fullest as long as she was able.  She will surely be missed but treasured memories of her will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home of Wallace with Pastor Leo Bracken officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha.

Casketbearers will be Harrell Richardson, Harrell Richardson, Jr., Jamie Lane, Louis Swartz, Michael Meeks and Joseph Rogers.
