Debra Lee Blanton, 61, of Burgaw entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at The Laurels of Pender.

She was born May 14, 1960 in Burgaw, the daughter of Annie Louise Lewis and the late John Thomas Blanton.

In addition to her mother, Debra is also survived by her children, Cynthia Ann Smith (Richard), and Ralph Thomas McArtan; grandchildren, Alayne Webber and Dyllan Smith; brothers, David Blanton (Melinda), J.T. Blanton, Wayne Gurganious (Brenda), Barry Gurganious, Junior Gurganious (Millie); sister, Patricia Wainwright; and many nieces and nephews.

Debra was a beautiful young lady and in her mid-thirties she became incapacitated remaining so until September 16, 2021, the day she was transitioned to Glory. Her family loved her, cared for her, and visited her all these many years. Today she is healed and sits at the foot of her Lord and Savior.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Watha Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with the Reverend Clint Jones conducting the service. A dinner for the family will be served immediately after the service.
