Donald Jeffrey Burgess, 64, of Burgaw passed from his earthly life on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his home.

He was born May 15, 1954 in Pender County, the son of the late Harvey J. and Geneva Stokes Burgess.

Donald is survived by his caregivers and friends, Jim and Dawn Connor.

By career and trade Donald was a mechanic who worked on farm equipment.

It was requested by Donald that there be no services held. His cremated remains will be laid to rest beside his parents in the family cemetery.
