Donald Wayne Garner, 62, of Hampstead, NC, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

He was born on January 3, 1958, in New Hanover County, NC to the late Zobie Dan Garner and Eula (Campfield) Garner.
Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a huge fan of NASCAR and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Donald loved his boat and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his dog.

Donald is survived by his wife, Robin Ann (Barnette) Garner; daughters, Shannon Rinko and husband, Chad, and Leslie Lewis and husband, Blake; brother, Richard Garner; sister, Debbie Lamb and husband, David; grandchildren, Kimber Rinko, Bentley Rinko and Beau Lewis; his beloved dog, Boujee Lou; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 pm Monday, March 2, 2020, at Castle Hayne Advent Christian Church 2710 Hermitage Rd, Castle Hayne, NC 28429. The family will receive friends at their house following the service.
