Donna Watkins Anderson, 41, of Atkinson passed from her earthly life on Friday, October 9, 2015 at home.

She was born January 29, 1974 in Rocky Mount and was born to Lonnie James Gray, Jr. and Joyce Rackley Gray and was the adopted daughter of the late Nellie Watkins.

Donna is survived by her sons, Christopher Hulan Anderson and Noah Alexander Anderson; fiancé, Joseph Larkins; aunts and uncles including Albert Watkins, who was like dad to Donna; half sisters, Wanda, Nancy, Betty and Teresa; half brother, Terry; and many extended family.

Donna was a loving daughter and mother who always meant well. She looked for and encouraged the best in everyone. The things that Donna enjoyed most were reading romance novels and recalling memories with photos. Her faith in her Lord was strong and steadfast. Donna's beautiful smile, warm heart and sweet spirit will always be remembered.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Natmoore Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Mott officiating. Burial will follow in Larkins Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw.
