Doris "Dot" Ezzell Johnson, 76, of Delco passed gracefully to her Heavenly home on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCareCenter.

She was born November 28, 1934 in Sampson County, the daughter of the late Henry David and Minnie Blizzard Ezzell. Surviving are her devoted husband of 53 years, Royce M. Johnson; sons, Randall M. (Joyce) Johnson of Angier and Larrell K. (Sharon) Johnson of Fuquay Varina; five grandchildren; David Johnson of Chattanooga, TN, Ashley Johnson and Lauren Johnson both of Angier, and Bryan Johnson and Morgan Johnson both of Fuquay-Varina; brothers, Charles D. Ezzell of Wilmington and Ervin Ezzell of Currie and sister, Nancy Parker of Wilmington.

Mrs. Johnson was a faithful member of Livingston Baptist Church. Being a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend Dot will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She has moved on from her earthly life to the everlasting light and healing, but the memories of Dot shine bright for those of us who remain behind.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Livingston Baptist Church, Delco. A service of remembrance of our dear "Dot" will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Livingston Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
