Doris Gray Gurganious Murray, age 80, of Wallace died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Duplin General Hospital.

Mrs. Murray was born June 22, 1927 in Pender County and was the daughter of the late Timothy and Mollie Caison Gurganious. She was also predeceased by her husband, Ivey Murray; her daughter, Linda Carol Murray and sister, Avie Mae English.

Surviving are her devoted daughter, Janice Brown and husband, Dean of Wallace; sister, Nancy Locklear and husband, Eartle of Wilmington; brother, Earl Gurganious and wife, Mildred of Wallace; grandchildren, Robin Bonham and husband, David of Rose Hill and Barry Brown and wife, Dana of Beulaville; step great grandchild, Courtney Lawson and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 at Riverview Memorial Park with the Reverend Dustin Gillespie officiating.
