Doris Jean Vaughn's Obituary
Doris Jean Vaughn, 84, of Wilmington passed gently from her earthly life on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.
She was born December 6, 1931 in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late David and Nora Morgan Smoot. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Robert Vaughn and sons, Billy "Pete" Vaughn and Michael Vaughn.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Beverly Rivenbark (Tom) of Wilmington and Sandra Ellingson (Dan) of Boulder Junction, WI; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Doris was a faithful member of United Advent Christian Church.
Graveside funeral service will be in Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH at a later date. Funeral arrangements in Ohio are under the care of Belton-Stroud Funeral Home, Fairborn, OH.
