Dorothy Waynick Hall, (Dot) age 89, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023.

She was born on November 1, 1933, in Rockingham County, NC to the late William Lee Waynick and Mildred Gilliam Waynick.

Dot was a devoted Christian, daughter, wife, and mother. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Reverend Melvin Hall. Together they served in multiple churches in southeastern NC and participated in Christian missionary work all over the U.S. and throughout different countries of the world. Dot was loved by her family, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Dot is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Melvin Hall; children, Charles Hall (Vivian), Denise Culler (Breck), Susan Warwick (Steve), and Stephen Hall (Jennifer); eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Pine Valley Baptist Church, 3940 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403, on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11 am with Reverend Melvin Hall officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions in memory of Dot may be given to the Pine Valley Baptist Church Memorial Garden Fund at 3940 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403 at www. pinevalleybc.org.
