Edgar Milton Norris, age 66, of Wallace, left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from Vidant Medical Center of Greenville.

He was born on January 10, 1955 in Wilmington, North Carolina to Ruby Wells Norris of Wallace and the late Edgar W. Norris.  Milton is also predeceased by his sister, Denise Norris Smith.

In addition to his mother, Milton is survived by his best friend and love of his life, Colleen Rivenbark of Pink Hill; his loving daughter, Amy Mangiacapra and husband, Louis of Mims, FL.; grandchildren, Kristal Mulholland and husband, Nolan, Louis P. Mangiacapra and wife, Monica, Tyler Mangiacapra and wife, Rachel, Adam Mangiacapra and Isabella Mangiacapra; great grandchildren, Samuel Mulholland, Seth Mulholland, Lily Mangiacapra, Louis P.R. Mangiacapra, and Wyatt Mangiacapra; aunt, Lila Cashwell; nephew, Jason Smith and wife, Mary Kathryn; children not by blood, Christopher Sholar and Justin Rivenbark and wife, Alma; grandchildren not by blood, Mason Dixon and Wesley Sholar; his canie companion, Deliliah and numerous exended family and friends that loved Milton dearly.

Milton was a loving son and caring father, grandfather and friend who always put others before himself. He was an humble man who never met a stranger.  Milton would give the shirt off his back and never expect or want anything in return to those in need.  He was an electrician by trade and was good at what he did.  Milton enjoyed fishing, spending time at the beach/lake and cooking on the grill.  But more than anything he loved his family and was always there for them.  He was a hard worker and never complained.  Having a servant's heart, Milton would do volunteer work for churches, family, friends and to those in need of his many talents.  All in all, Milton Norris was a good man full of intergrity, compassion and love. He will surely be missed but those who knew and loved him will always have him in their hearts and memories.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Poston Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Jarman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00pm, one hour prior the funeral service on Sunday at the church.

Burial will follow the service at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Robert Allen Wood, Gary Richard, Larry Horrell, Terry Duff, Guy Croom and Willie Lanier.

Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Ramsey, Allen Raynor Jr., Donald Croom, Andrew Hanchey, Dink Martin and J.C. Lanier.

Memorial gifts may be given to Poston Baptist Church, School Building Fund, 4121 South NC 11, Wallace, NC 28466 in memory of Milton.
