Edna Frances Wallace Blanton, 74, of Magnolia, left this life for her eternal rest on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

She was born on May 1, 1947, in Duplin County; the daughter of the late Lonnie L. and Minnie Langston Wallace; Edna had several siblings that preceded her in death.

Surviving to cherish her memories is her daughter, Donna Pittman and soulmate, Robert Sanderson of Rose Hill; son, Ronald "Ronnie" Pittman of Magnolia; grandchildren, William Guy Bradshaw, Justin Andrew Rich, Daniel Wesley Rich, Cheyanne Pittman, Shawn Pittman, Erica Nicole Ferguson, Cathy Pittman, Alisa Ott, Kayla Ott and Jody Ott; great grandchildren, Avaleigh Nicole Rich, Amelia Gale Rich, Abigail Fayth Rich, Logan Wesley Rich, Grace Marie Davis, Ericksen Noel Cruz, Zoey Ott, Samantha Pittman, and Jonathan Pittman; step-granddaughter, Allyssa Nicole Smith; sisters, Jerri Bradshaw and Juanita Petteway, both of Goldsboro; very special friends, Dora and Elwood Howard and their children; numerous extended family and friends who loved Edna dearly.

Edna was a loving mother and caring grandmother who loved her family with all her heart.  She was a strong yet gentle woman who always spoke her mind.  No one ever had to guess what Edna was thinking.  She enjoyed holidays especially Valentines and Christmas.  Being a good-hearted woman and a loving person, Edna would go out of her way to help anyone in real need.  She grew up hard and knew the value of hard work, which she did as long as her health permitted.  Edna will surely be missed but treasure memories will forever be in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace with the Reverend Ray Kennedy officiating.

Following the service, the family will receive friends until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
