Edna Lynn Robinson Richards, 39, of Rocky Point passed from her earthly life on Friday, February 5, 2016 at her home.

She was born October 7, 1976 in Wilmington, the daughter of Helen Murray Robinson and the late Max Robinson.

In addition to her mother, Edna is survived by her husband of ten years, Michael David Richards; children, Lana Richards, James Bradley Ward and Nina Richards; grandchildren, Peyton Ward and Aiyden Michael Montgomery; sister, Jennifer McLean (Mike); aunts, Ruth Guevara and Connie Recchio (Robert); and many extended family and friends.

Edna was a devoted wife and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She found great joy in the simplest of things, but her greatest joy was family. She loved cooking, the ocean, boats, thunder storms, mountains, and best of all the Carolina Panthers. With a quiet faith in the Lord, Edna enjoyed all of God's nature and wonders of this world. She was truly a beautiful lady inside and out. Cherished memories will forever remain in our hearts.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with Pastor Ryan Minkler officiating.
