Edward "Scott" Raisor, age 57, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Scott was born on January 25, 1965 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Donald Allen Raisor, Sr. and the late Lella Mae NeSmith Huffman.

Scott relocated to Virginia in 1992 and began his career with AT&T in 2000.  He was a problem solver that never lost his passion to be the best and enjoyed years of mentoring others.  He worked hard but was always up to celebrate the many wins along the way.

Scott met the love of his life Nancy Lynn Raisor in 1993 and is survived by her, along with daughters, Brittany Raisor, Tara Kinney, and Victoria Allen; brothers, Danny Burt, John Burt, and Billy Cox; sisters, Andrea Hooper, Bonita Raisor, Patricia Flinn, and Sarah Malloy; and grandchildren, Noah Lee Whitehead, Asher Scott Allen, Violet Nancy Allen, and Aria Nicole Morton.  He is preceded in death by his sister Tammy Lynn NeSmith and brother Donald Allen Raisor.

Scott was committed above all else to his family.  He enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible.  He loved fishing, travel and his craft beer.  He loved to be challenged and worked at ATT until the very end.

A memorial service will be held at Gainesville United Methodist Church in Gainesville, VA on April 20, 2022. Celebration of life will follow at CraftWorx Taproom.
