Edward "Putt" Wesley Ward, 78, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 31, 1943, in Wilmington to the late Marsden E. and Mary Gladys (Keal) Ward.

Ed is survived by his three daughters, Kimberly King and husband, Timothy, Tiffany Ward; Ashley Paterson and husband, Harry; his brother, David Ward and wife, Joan; his beloved grandchildren, Tyler King, Cameron King, Harrison Phoenix Paterson, Emma Paterson; and a host of other family and friends.

A private invitation only graveside service will be held at Oleander Memorial Gardens in Wilmington.
