Elaine Marie Sundstrom, 81, of Wilmington, passed away on Monday May 25, 2026, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

She was born on February 1, 1945, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to the late Joseph Mastalir and the late Francine Ferrec Mastalir.

Elaine is survived by her son, Darryl Sundstrom and his wife, Michele, her grandchildren, Isabella Marie Sundstrom, Raymond Taylor Sundstrom, Jarrett Quinlan, Rhiannon Quinlan; her sister, Carole Kemper and her husband, Scott; her niece, Christina Sepulveda, and her nephew, Brian Kemper.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond K. Sundstrom; and her sister, JoAnne Mastalir.
