Elbert Kenneth Boone, 65, of Magnolia passed from his earthly  life Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Kenansville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born May 4, 1954 in Duplin County, the son of Elbert Ray Boone and Louise Stroud Boone.

Elbert is survived by his wife, Sara J. Boone; daughter, Kelly Miranda (Dave) of Rose Hill; grandchildren, Jayden, Alyssa, Ethan and Dave; sisters, Doris Dixon (John) of Rose Hill, Joyce Jones (Jimmy) of Clinton, Louise Holland of Turkey and Kim Yanez (Edward) of Pink Hill; brothers, Anthony Boone and Gary Boone both of Magnolia; and many nieces and nephews. And not to be forgotten is Elbert's favorite lady dog, Brownie.

Memorial service  will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel.
