Eleanor Milliken Nunalee, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 15, 2020, at Brunswick Health and Rehab Center in Ash, NC.

She was born November 24, 1927, in Robeson County to William Milliken and Bessie Margaret Musselwhite. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence Lloyd Nunalee and son, William Nunalee.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lynch and husband, Chuck; son, Norcum Nunalee and wife, Marlene; four grandchildren, Tim Nunalee and wife, Lisa, David Nunalee and wife, Amber, Amy and Carrie; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Randy Taylor and wife, Melody; and many extended family.

For many years Eleanor was a faithful member of Rocky Point United Methodist.

Eleanor, with a kind and gentle spirit loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devoted homemaker and loving wife and mother. Loving all of God's creations, Eleanor's cats had a special place in her heart and in her home. Eleanor lived a long, good life and her presence on this earth will be missed.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Oleander Memorial Gardens where Eleanor will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Lloyd. The Rev. Mark Murphy will conduct the service.
