Elizabeth Ann "Annie"
Rivenbark
Dec 6, 1936 — Feb 22, 2023
A kind and energetic soul, a gracious and giving lady, Elizabeth Ann Rivenbark, of Manning, SC and formerly of Burgaw and Fort Washington, MD entered into the glory of her Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the age of 86. She was at their home in Manning.
Ann was born at home on December 6, 1936, in the Iroquois coal camp, Wyoming County, West Virginia, to Rodney Carl and Hazel Pauline Flanagan Shupe.
She became a Christian as a young woman and humbly strived to live her life to please God. She was a dedicated wife and mother who was always available to help her family and friends, whether it was to babysit children, care for sick family members, share meals, or simply visit and listen.
She is survived by her cherished husband of 26 years, Abner Rivenbark; sisters, Wanda Wishard, Nancy Smith (Daniel) and Dorothy Vitsos (George); son, Clarence "Wade" Meadows (April); daughters, Robyn Brown and Dana Soltis (John); daughter-in-law, Lisa Meadows-Arndt (Ricky); granddaughters Jessie D'Angelo (Johnny), Erin Kelbaugh (Michael), Andie Meadows, Rachel Kadric, and Anna Soltis; grandsons, Travis Hesen, Randy Brown, Jake Meadows, Michael, Samuel, and Benjamin Soltis; great grandchildren, Mickey, Ethan, Caralyn, Stella, and Hayden; and many dear nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her first husband, Clarence Finley Meadows; eldest son, Dennis Meadows; brother, James Shupe; and brother-in-law, Stuart Wishard.
The family is very appreciative of the loving and kind attention her caregivers, Ernestine Rogers and Gloria Taylor, showed her.
