Elizabeth Anne Boone Wells, age 68, of Wallace passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 from the Brian Center of Wallace.

She was born on July 21, 1952 in Sampson County and was one of four children born to Hubert and Annie Thigpen Boone.

Surviving is her son, Stephen Wells of Goldsboro, daughter, Stephanie Wells of Goldsboro; siblings, Brenda Gideon and husband, Glenn of Wallace, brothers, Melvin Boone and wife, Nancy of Wallace and Allen Boone and wife, Shelby of Teachey, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family that loved Anne dearly.

Anne was a kindhearted sister and caring aunt.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  Anne enjoyed dancing, country-western music and soap operas, which she kept up with their actors.  Anne loved people and was loved in return.  An avid reader, Anne enjoyed reading, especially Harlequin Romance novels. She was a strong, courageous, and yet gentle woman who brought out the good in all those who were near and dear to her.  Annie will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw.
