Ellen Ruth Brady, age 63, of Loris, South Carolina died Sunday, August 14, 2011 in Brunswick County.

She was born October 14, 1947 in Passaic County, New Jersey.

Surviving are her daughters, Kristin Bailey (Jim) of Millville, NJ, Lindsay DeFilippo (C.J.) of Milltown, NJ and Whitney Lawrence (Daniel) of West Millford, NJ; granddaughter, Nina Marie Bailey; brother, Anthony Raia (Leslie) of Wilmington, DE; cousin, John Raia (Susan) of Wilmington, NC and best friend, Colby.

Ellen was a loving mother and caring grandmother, sister and cousin who loved her family dearly. Being young at heart, she enjoyed life to its fullest, which included traveling and spending time at the beach. As one who lived on a farm, Ellen loved the outdoors, especially cruising the waters in her boat or riding the wooded trails on her four-wheeler. Cherished memories of Ellen will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Memorial service will be at a later date in New Jersey. The time and place will be announced on this website when final arrangements are completed.
