Elmer "Andy" Anthony Davis, age 70, entered into the Glory of his savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday morning, July 11, 2024 in Wilmington.

Andy was born May 17, 1954 in Wilmington, the son of JoAnn Pridgen Davis.and the late Elmer Davis.

He is survived by his mother, Joann Davis; daughter, Dana Howell (Bill); sons, Rusty May, James Mathews (Tracie), John Mathews (Frances), Jason Mathews (Kristin); eleven grandchildren; sister, Kim West (Ricky); and a special family friend who was dedicated to giving him exceptional care, Alison DeVane.

Andy always said the only birthday that mattered was October 19, 1989. This is the day he made Jesus Lord of his life. He strived to tell anyone he could about the love of God. He founded Believers Bible Fellowship in 1992. Through the ministry, he was able to touch lives all over the world. He believed in loving people past what he knew about them. This was his example of God's love. He also enjoyed singing songs like, The Anchor Holds, which told his testimony. He loved to laugh, often pulling jokes on friends and family. He enjoyed everything about the outdoors. He will truly be missed by many that loved him, but his legacy will continue through the generations.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 3rd at 5:30 p.m. at New Beginnings Church of Pender, 16624 US Hwy 421, Burgaw NC
