Elmer Ronald Sellers, 72, of Burgaw, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

He was born May 8, 1948 in Stuart, FL, the son of the late Elmer Martin Sellers and Carole Lastinger Sellers.

Elmer is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria Stokley Sellers; sons, James Ronald "Ron" Sellers and wife, Heather and Elmer Wade Sellers and wife, Paula; grandchildren, Samantha "Sam" Buffkin (Grayson), Morgan Sellers, and Hannah Sellers; great grandson, Myles Buffkin; sister, Teresa Sellers; many extended family and friends.

After working for 35 years Elmer retired from CSX Railroad. Elmer always gave a helping hand where it was needed. His generosity went a long way. He loved and cherished his family dearly and will be greatly missed.

Graveside service and inurnment will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Riverview Memorial Park, Watha with Pastor Merrell McKoy officiating.
