Emanuel Foster, Jr., 96, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on January 27, 1930, in Wilmington, to the late Emanuel Foster, Sr. and the late Anna Klander Foster.

Emanuel served his country honorably in the US Navy.

He retired as a parts manager after working for 50 years at Cape Fear Ford.

Emanuel is survived by his beloved wife, Wilma Jones Foster; his daughter, Jackie Wellborne; 4 grandsons; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, Emanuel was also preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Foster Mason.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Riverview Memorial Park, Watha, North Carolina with Rev. Gary Jones officiating.
