Eric Earl Teachey, 38, of Rose Hill left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Tuesday, May 26, 2015.
He was born January 4, 1977 in Pender County; the son of Herschel Earl and Judy Chadwick Teachey of Rose Hill. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William Frazier and Kathleen Henderson Chadwick.
Surviving in addition to his loving parents is his paternal grandparents, Myron Earl and Juanita Sumner Teachey of Rose Hill; uncle, Myron Dwight Teachey of Murrells Inlet, SC; aunt, Leatha Teachey Pack and husband, Larry also of Murrells Inlet, SC; Pam Bradshaw of Wallace who was Eric's second mother and a very important part of his life; his special friend, Patricia Piner of Rose Hill and numerous family and friends whom Eric loved dearly and was loved in return.
Eric or "E.T." as he was affectionately called was a loving son, grandson and nephew. He enjoyed the simple things in life but his great joy was family and friends. Being an avid outdoorsman, Eric loved nature, his dogs, dirt biking, and riding horses. But his favorite pastime was fishing and camping with his uncle, Dwight. Eric was a simple young man who was loved by all who knew him. He was caring, gentle, kind hearted and a true friend to everyone. With a tender and forgiving spirit he loved everyone unconditionally. Being humble and totally selfless, he would give the shirt off his back or the last bite of food he had. Eric or "E.T." will surely be missed but cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
