Esther Ernestine Wartenbee Johnson, 86, of Supply went home with Jesus after a long fulfilling music ministry on Friday, November 11, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Bolivia.

She was born March 27, 1935 in Pender County to the late Ernest Ugene Wartenbee and Lila Gertrude Melvin Wartenbee.

Esther is survived by her five children, Mark Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Evangelist Michelle Millinor and husband, Reverend Mark Millinor, Edward Johnson, and Rebekah Johnson; five grandchildren, Jessica Wallbrown, Casey Johnson Matthews, Zachary Johnson, Cassie Millinor and Joshua Johnson; and three great granddaughters, Bailey Grace Matthews, Blakely Rae Wallbrown, and Scarlett Mae Matthews.

A private family graveside service was officiated by Esther's son-in-law, whom she loved dearly, The Rev. Mark Millinor.
