Ethel Creech Padgett, 103, of Wallace left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from the Brian Center of Wallace.

She was born April 17, 1912 in Duplin County and was the daughter of the late Frank and Eddie Jones Creech. She is predeceased by her husband, Clemeth Padgett; son, JC Padgett; sisters, Beulah C. Futreal and Sally Padgett.

She is survived by her nieces, Elouise Molleck and husband, Bob and Emily Sue Patridge.

Ethel was very close to being an angel. She was a true lady with a big heart full of love for everybody she met. She was a great homemaker and good cook who enjoyed opening her home to others. She loved the Lord and her life was a great example of her faith.During her life time she enjoyed crocheting beautiful bedspreads. Ethel will be missed but cherished memories of her will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Larry Brown officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to Brian Center of Wallace- Senior Activity, 647 S. Railroad Street, Wallace, NC 28466
