In addition to his parents Ross is survived by his wife of 21 years, Lorie Moore Floyd; sons, Aaron Paul Floyd and William Ross Floyd; daughter, Ivy Marie Floyd; sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Jerry Jacobs; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.
Ross graduated from Pender Academy Class of 1980, grew up in Atkinson Baptist Church and for the past 17 year attended and was very active in Caswell Presbyterian Church where he sang in the church choir.
