Eula Gray Davis Gray, 89, of Raeford passed gently from her earthly life on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Autumn Care of Raeford.

She was one of eight children born October 14, 1928 in Kenley, NC to Joseph Ruffin Davis and Mattie Johnson Davis. In addition to her parents Eula was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Allen Gray; daughter, Patricia Ann Gray; and sons, Stephen Allen Gray and Mark A. Gray, Jr.

Eula is survived by her grandchildren, Rose Galindo, Stephanie DiBartolomeo, Francis Yarbough, and Christine Yarbough; six great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Woodcock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eula was a very strong and courageous lady as she faced many adversities and losses in her life. All her family agrees that Eula was a fabulous baker, her pineapple cakes were delectable. Eula and her sister, Doris, had a very special relationship, spending much time together traveling, going out to eat, and doing fun things. Most important Eula loved and cared for her family. She was loved and will be missed.

Funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with the Rev. Merrell McKoy conducting the service.

Private burial will be at a later date in Greenlawn Memorial where she will be laid to rest by her beloved husband, Mark.
