Frances Bond Freck, 68, of Leland passed from her earthly life to her eternal rest on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at her home with family at her bedside.

She was born March 16, 1944 in Wilmington and was the daughter of the late Norman Walter and Edna Mae Harris Bond.

Frances is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Charles Luther "Luke" Freck; daughter, Tiffne Huffstetler (Palmer) of Cherryville; son, Luke Freck (Tisa) of Wilmington; nine grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Geddes (Mike) of Burgaw and Jane Shipp of Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews.

Honoring Frances' wishes there will be no services held. Remember Frances as the caring, vibrant lady that she was.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial gifts may be given to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401.
