Geneva King Bolick, age 84, of Burgaw died peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Rex Hospital Hospice surrounded by loving family.

She was born September 3, 1925 in Brunswick County, the daughter of the late Elbert Hill King and Barbara Lee Farrior King. She was also predeceased by her husband, Paul Spencer Bolick; grandson, Spencer Bolick; and sister, Doris King.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Patsy Bolick of Burgaw and Keith and Milly Bolick of Raleigh; grandchildren, Monica Bass (Michael), Kayla Bolick and Eric Bolick; brothers, Ben King (Nettie) and Elbert King (Violet) both of Sneads Ferry; sister, Bodell Wilson of Holly Ridge; sister-in-law, Mary Bolick Bland of Wilson and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bolick was a faithful member of Forest Hills Baptist Church.

Geneva was known for her love and devotion to her family, her Christian beliefs and values, and her kind and gentle spirit. Cherished memories of Geneva will forever live on in our hearts.

Graveside funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Riverview Memorial Park with The Rev. Tim Cook officiating.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw.
