Georgia Jacqueline
Baldridge
Jun 14, 1929 — Apr 27, 2013
Georgia Jacqueline "Jackie" Fristoe Baldridge, age 83 of Wilmington, entered into the presence of her blessed Savior on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Davis Health Care and into the loving arms of her late husband John L. (Johnny) Fristoe.
She was preceded in death by her parents Reca and George Boyette, her first husband John L. Fristoe and her second husband Henry Baldridge.
Jackie is survived by her three daughters, Karen Joy McMyne (Bill), of San Antonio, TX, Terry Lynn Dyer (John) of Wilmington and Johnsie Lauren Weissenstein of the home. To cherish her memory she left 6 grandchildren, Paul Gonka (Sarah), Brian Gonka, Jenny Vega (Joe), Megan Weissenstein, Sean Dyer (Kelly) and Robby Weissenstein, 5 great grandchildren Susannah, Elisabeth, Gabriel, Julian and Aubree. Also step children Deborah (Kenneth) Holmberg, Cynthia (William) Rogers and David (Laurie) Baldridge, 6 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.
Momma was in every sense a sweet, warm, caring Southern bell who always put her family first. She provided guidance and love to us after our Dad passed away and left a life footprint for us to follow. She was truly a friend. Jackie taught public elementary school in her younger years and raised her own children as a stay at home Mom. She definitely left an impression on the children she taught. Many of these students kept in touch with her over the years. She loved plants. She crocheted baby sets and donated them to various needy charitable groups. In her later years, Jackie enjoyed computer games and crossword puzzles. She adored her grandchildren and loved hearing about their accomplishments and where life was taking them. Jackie was filled with pride about her great grandchildren and thrilled to be a part of their lives. Jackie grew up in Chadbourn and was proud of the towns "small town values".
Our hearts were broken the day God took Momma home, but we have our memories of growing up in a home filled with love and laughter. We will cherish these memories until we meet her again. "We will see you in the morning."

The family would like to thank Davis Health Care, Lower Cape Fear Hospice and the office of Dr. John Boldizar for the love, compassion and dignity they showed our Mother. A special thank you to Carole Green who provided music from Heaven and her harp during the last days of our Mothers life.
