Gerald W. Ange, age 66 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 from a short battle with Cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Dorothy Ange.

Gerald is survived by his wife Brenda Ange, of the home, sons Todd Ange and Kevin Ange, grandchildren Karson Ange and Walter "Wade" Ange, brother Alvin Ange and wife Brenda, brother in law Maurice Edmundson and wife Pat, nieces and nephews.

Gerald retired from Coeco Office Systems as President of the Wilmington office. He was a member of Winter Park Baptist Church, where he served as Teacher, Deacon and a Stephens Minister. Gerald was a Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam. He enjoyed the outdoors, serving his community, and spending time with family and friends. His quick wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He knew no strangers.

Memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington where the family will have visitation immediately following the service. Gerald will be inurned at Oleander Memorial Gardens at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Winter Park Baptist Church.
