Geraldine Barmer went to be with Jesus on November 29, 2015.

She leaves behind a daughter Cindy Barmer Turner and husband John of Wilmington, 2 granddaughters Melodye Arant and Sarah Byrd, one great granddaughter Ava Byrd and a sister Betty Lassiter of Aulander.

Geraldine was an Avon representative for many years and she was loved by all who knew her. She had a care giver spirit and was known for running errands for those in need. She was a member of the Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she served as the janitor. She will be greatly missed by her family but we know she is beholding glory now alongside her husband Ray on what would have been their 68th wedding anniversary.

There will be a celebration of her life in the spring of 2016 in Aulander.
