Glenda Odom Hurley, age 63 of Carolina Beach passed away April 14, 2015 in the arms of her mother and children after a yearlong fight against brain cancer.

She was the daughter of Garland Estus Odom, Sr.(deceased) and Lucille Dale Odom. She is preceded in death by her husband of twenty years, Frank Hurley.

Born April 9, 1952, Glenda was blessed to own and manage real estate in New Hanover County that allowed her time to do the things she enjoyed most, family, friends and travel. Fondly referred to by her beloved grandchildren as "GG", she actively participated in their lives.

Glenda is survived by her mother Lucile Odom, brother Garland E. Odom, Jr, her brother Ricky and wife Connie Odom, sons Ray Bradshaw and wife Myrae, David Bradshaw and wife Kathy and daughter Shelia Bradshaw and her fiancé, Scott Schriver, stepsons Dan Hurley, Frank Hurley and Rob O'Neill, stepdaughter Cathie Hurley. She had eleven "awesome" grandchildren: Donovan, Deklan and Drake Bradshaw, Izzy and Davis Bradshaw and Hunter and Fisher Marshall, Kyle and Austin Jarrett, Vikram and Madhavi Trikha. Her niece, Heather Odom and nephews, Trey, Bradley and Jamie Odom all who loved and adored GG.

A memorial service will be held Saturday April 18, 2015 visitation 12-2:00pm service beginning at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church Carolina Beach.
